Weight loss equals sore muscles?

Ive lost a bunch of weight and inches in the last 60 days just eating less and walking about 4 miles a day, drinking a lot more water.

I feel a lot healthier but noticed that certain muscles in my arms shoulder and neck get sore a lot more often just from sitting around.

Ive read the fat tends to cushion your muscles and when you lose a lot of it the muscles get pressed up on the skin more or something.

Anyone else ever had this issue? Wonder if its just a matter of time for the muscles to adjust to the decrease in fat tissue.

How much is a bunch? Percentage-wise? Scrivener7 Jun 2021 #2
Maybe you are more active and aren't doing enough stretching thus OnDoutside Jun 2021 #3

When I've lost weight, it was over a lot of time. I never experienced that. Others may have.

I did experience being more sensitive to cold, though.

My back, knees and ribs hurt when I get out of bed. When my cat stands on me it hurts more than it did when I was fat.
My legs go numb if I sit on the toilet too long.

Everything is sensitive and sore.

I am 71 and forgot the name of what the body secreats due to exercise or new exercise . It will stop soon or you can go to a health food store because there is a supplement that helps.
