(15,667 posts)I'm doing a sort of do it yourself WW -- measuring portions, counting calories on my own with the help of freebie site Fitday.
My mom lost 35 lbs on WW years ago, never gained it back! Still does a lot of the same things she started doing in WW (such as eating a well balanced breakfast even when rushed, taking half of her restaurant portions home in a doggie bag.)

(14,167 posts)I'm a Lifetime member who sort of backslid -- I rejoined and have lost 18 pounds. I love the program -- it's a big improvement from back in the day when you were counting exchanges instead of points.

(ON EDIT: Don't mean to be rude "butting in" on the group but I've been away from DU for a few months. I'm glad to see WW being discussed here and I hope to read/add my two cents more often, if that's okay...)
