Any Bozeman family descendants here?

Last edited Thu Oct 4, 2012, 11:30 PM - Edit history (1)

A while back, while looking into my mother's family, I came across some very interesting connections, including the fact that I am not only related to the Bozemans(including John Merin Bozeman, who got Bozeman, MT named after him!) but a direct descendant of some of them.

My great-great-great-grandmother, Caroline Bozeman, married Yearby Land in the early 1860s while both where living in southern Ill.(Lincoln's home state, yay!). I was able to trace this line definitively to Samuel Bozeman, the great-grandfather of John Merin Bozeman- http://records.ancestry.com/Samuel_Bozeman_records.ashx?pid=12457577 , and I am fairly sure the line goes all the way back to Nathan Bozeman, who was born in 1605 in Holland and emigrated here sometime in his life.

And, here is Jacob Bozeman, the great-great-uncle of John M. Bozeman:

I'd like to know if there may be anyone else on here who shares a Bozeman connection.
