(36,332 posts)I'm thinking about searing them and serving with a burre blanc pan sauce, whichever veggie is closest to the crisper drawer opening, and a Caesar salad.

(4,635 posts)It's about 3.5 lb and rubbed with Montreal Steak - God, it's almost ready and looks just beautiful in the roaster! We thicken up the juice in the pan.
Red-tipped leaf lettuce w/red pepper, onion, and shredded cheddar, dressing of choice from the fridge: creamy garlic, ranch, or thousand island
My daily beverage: Iced green tea w/a couple lavender/chamomile w/probiotics tea bags.
DH's: Black coffee

Al had a large, late lunch w/ his daughter-in-law while he was out and about this afternoon. So I don't have to cook for him.
Dad had kielbasa and cabbage stir-fry and boiled potatoes.

Big green salad. Guacamole and chips. Spicy chili with cheese melted on top.

(10,645 posts)the closest I've seen are idli, which tend to be Southern Indian and most places here are Punjabi. They sound good,though!
