What's for Dinner, Tues., Feb. 14, 2023

Goat cheese-beet salad over tossed greens with toasted candied pecans.

My cannellini minestrone soup.

Maybe some chicken, which was made in the slow cooker earlier today.

Dessert: Low-carb, low-sugar chocolate ice cream and decaf.

I love that brand. Dessert vanilla yogurt with frozen black cherries later.

Hot tea with sugar and milk.
Think I’m coming down with another cold. Ugh.

There’s chocolate ice cream in the freezer if I’m feeling perkier later.

spicy avocado.

If I have dessert, it'll be the other half of the orange I cut.

Happy Valentine's Day!

the local grocery had Dungeness crab at a not-too-exhorbitant price, so having that with romaine lettuce and hard-boiled egg, with some fresh sourdough on the side. It'll probably be the last of the season.

...fresh ginger, chili crisp, black vinegar, and soy sauce.

K had the last of the leftover meatloaf and au gratin potatoes but it really wasn't enough to feed two. And I love a bowl of noodles!

Cheddar cheese hamburgers on Kaiser rolls with lettuce, beefsteak tomato slices and red onion slices. Ketchup and brown mustard. Homemade sweet potato fries. Pickles and craft lagers. Chocolate ice cream.

We’re moored right behind the Castillo fort in St. Augustine, FL. It’s spectacular! We’ll be sight seeing for a few days and we’re expecting some terrific food!
