Crab dip

Last edited Tue Mar 21, 2023, 07:41 AM - Edit history (1)

Morning I’m off tonight going to make this crab dip, the boys on cyber school three days week now two days in attendance, they are making Bangers and mash with onion gravy I don’t think we ever tried it.

Crab dip
8ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 diced onion
1.5 teaspoon old bay
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1teaspoon hot sauce
Cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 pound crab meet I’m using canned

I’m gonna mix everything together cook at 350 for 20 minutes

Then I’ll take it out mix in crab meat cheese hot sauce mix everything.
I tripled this myself because we love crab dip
And bake for another 20 minutes I may use one of those disposable aluminum pans for the bake.

Thinking I’ll serve this over sourdough bread.

You mix everything together but then add the rest? So you cook the cream cheese, mayo and cheese Then add the crab?

(Sorry- I’ve never made this…)

Is that a bit much, or is it my imagination?

(I hesitated to ask, because I enjoy salty dishes, and I find anti-salt people tiresome.)

The sourdough bread is a nice touch.
