(38,961 posts)We got a HUGE one from the food pantry a couple of weeks ago. It was frozen. Al had a tool to cut the frozen roast into 4 smaller ones.
We'll have that w/ mashed potatoes and steamed carrots & cauliflower.
Brownies for dessert.
Dad had a breaded/baked pork chop, macaroni and cheese, and sauteed Brussels sprouts (w/ onions and garlic)

(22,767 posts)where it maintains safe temp, you can cut up a roast and refreeze the portions, rather than try to hack thru a huge frozen block of meat.

(71,021 posts)bar food. And had the best chicken wings anywhere and a salad with baby lettuce strawberries, blueberries, and Feta...there are other things which I have forgotten. It is dressed with a vinaigrette and called the French kiss. I also had pizza but the chicken wings are huge so the pizza came home in a box...and they have fresh lemonade too...tasted good! My taste is getting better. I am gluten-free so it is nice to have a place that serves quality food that I can eat.
