Miso-glazed salmon and shrimp sheet pan dinner. The vegetables are carrots, baby bok choy, and broccoli. Couscous.
Turmeric-blood orange kombucha.
Dessert: I baked salted caramel cookies with walnuts. These are "cut off the roll" cookies, not homemade.
Decaf coffee.

I know we've got plenty of lasagna and some salad, but I'd prefer something else.
I recall some steak and baked potatoes, but I'll have to see if it is still available. Fingers crossed.

it was so tender ... toasted the buns with
some nice provolone cheese
and having French silk pie for dessert

(1,760 posts)a side of steamed asparagus with lemon and dill. We have some dry Marsala and I used some in the ragu.
Retrograde

Dungeness crab, a mix of romaine lettuce with the unnamed varieties from the garden, hard-boiled egg, and a Russian-ish dressing (essentially a tartar sauce with some salsa, since I don't usually have ketchup around). Served with fresh sourdough bread and a California white of some sort.

One less jar of chili paste in the pantry, but four full pints of chili beef in there for future meals.
