What's for Dinner, Sat, April 8, 2023

Miso-glazed salmon and shrimp sheet pan dinner. The vegetables are carrots, baby bok choy, and broccoli. Couscous.

Turmeric-blood orange kombucha.

Dessert: I baked salted caramel cookies with walnuts. These are "cut off the roll" cookies, not homemade.

Decaf coffee.

It's a work night for TJ at the medical center.

I know we've got plenty of lasagna and some salad, but I'd prefer something else.

I recall some steak and baked potatoes, but I'll have to see if it is still available. Fingers crossed.

probably the last of the season. Dungeness crab, a mix of romaine lettuce with the unnamed varieties from the garden, hard-boiled egg, and a Russian-ish dressing (essentially a tartar sauce with some salsa, since I don't usually have ketchup around). Served with fresh sourdough bread and a California white of some sort.

Side dishes of black beans, corn/peppers, and cornbread. Semolina ricotta cake for dessert.

One less jar of chili paste in the pantry, but four full pints of chili beef in there for future meals.
