I have many delicious items from our recent appetizer buffet, but I need a main dish so I am making leek potato soup with leeks from the garden.
I might have a sausage on the side with the soup. Taralli will also go well with the soup.
Small shrimp/avocado salad with garden greens and Caesar salad.
Fruit (blackberries) for dessert, topped with toasted almonds, with Earl Grey tea.

(22,767 posts)We had lots of errands to run today, so picked up Chinese on the way home. General Tso's, pork fried rice, pork egg rolls, and the good hot mustard.
Haven't had this in a while so I'm exited!! Leftovers for breakfast in the morning!

with taco seasoning and some browned
hamburger we keep in the freezer for just
such an emergency
added some calif. French mix well
and was very good ...
It's our last night in NYC before we return to our boat in the Keys. Chinatown beckons!
We're going to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Hop Kee on Mott Street. Here's our plan.
Hot & Sour soup.
Sautéed green beans with oyster sauce.
Roast pork egg foo young.
White rice.
Hot black tea and ice water.
Fortune cookies and pineapple chunks.
Early flight tomorrow.
Lost track of your whereabouts.
We've been moored in Dinner Key off of Coconut Grove for the last month of R&R, repairs and work. We both had commitments up north so we've been taking care of those. We head back tomorrow and plan to sail to the Bahamas for a week or so before heading back north. When we get to Solomons Island, we'll get in touch!
