Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze.
Shrimp salad over tossed greens. Cornbread muffins with green chile peppers and cheddar cheese cubes.
Peanut butter cookies and hot chocolate (it's cool here!)

(22,838 posts)Our new friend, Captain Scott, is from Jamaica and hes taking us to what he calls the best jerk food in Miami. Its in Little Havana and Im very psyched!

My wife had oxtails with white rice and peas with a side of sautéed plantains.
I had half a jerk chicken with a green salad and fries.
The skipper had jerk pork with macaroni & cheese and a salad.
Our mooring neighbor, Doug, had jerk chicken in pasta with a salad.
Red Stripe beers all around. Ice cream for dessert.
A memorable meal.
