(5,088 posts)Baked the salmon in some Kens honey mustard dressing and tossed a few onions on top. The salad is lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots. No dressing because I shredded the salmon into the salad. Simple and tasty.
For dessert: dark chocolate filled croissant from our favorite bakery.

(1,230 posts)Husband dearest makes his crust from scratch, sauce from scratch. Im spoiled. (But not rotten.)
Toppings: pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, onions, fresh mozzarella, and sliced olives 🫒 for me, bell peppers for him.
Lettuces and the last of the spinach from the garden, carrots, radishes, tomato from the farm market, blue cheese dressing from the grocery store.
I made brownies for dessert, my sweet mamas recipe for the chewy, gooey kind,
with chopped almonds because I have no pecans.

(24,747 posts)We have neighbors that travel a lot and sometimes if they are going to be gone for awhile, they will give us what is in their fridge and freezer. They gave us, among other things, a package of 12 salmon cakes they bought at Costco.
Normally we would not have bought these because my wife makes very good seafood cakes of all kinds, but they were actually very good.
