OMG!
Just discovered this --- and it is FANTASTIC!
Outrage of Love
The ongoing Republican effort to end our democracy is Outrageous. The party's purge of those disloyal to the January 6 plotters is even worse. When does a party end and fascism begin? When good people give up on being Outraged. Your love is strong; use it to keep Outrage alive.
Outrageously good on avocados, eggs, fish, vegetables, salads, chicken, hummus, sandwiches, and cheeseburgers.
Ingredients: Salt, black pepper, red pepper, citric acid, shallots, lemon peel, white pepper, garlic, green onion.

They did a special edition of trial bags: Outrage 4 Pride for June Pride month, including free sample bags in orders.

As I said, OMG !
That is all.

(9,969 posts)but I haven't ordered it yet. I have ordered Balti seasoing... I like Indian, Pakistani, Mid eastern flavors a lot. It hasn't arrived yet.
I love the Greek and Penzeys Curry Now too... There's so many I'm curious about.

(5,582 posts)Whenever I make chili that's one of the main seasonings I use.
Pretty much my whole spice drawer is Penzey's, along with a lot of additional shelf space.
Revolution (used to be called 'Bicentennial') is great in soups and stews, or as a stand-alone rub/seasoning on chicken or pork.
Been buying from them for almost 30 years! I hate that they had to close their Seattle area store...it was great to be able to walk in and smell the samples of the various items.

(9,969 posts)Can't wait to try it --- thanks!
Appreciate the feedback on Chili 9000 too!

(9,969 posts)The cream cheese makes the eggs creamy and tender... My Mom loved them this way. She had Alzheimers and wasn't eating much, but she was always up for scrambled eggs with cream cheese. She wouldn't want the spicy Outrage on them though!
But I will be trying this with many things... and I think it would be a good addition to a Bloody Mary.
Yes!

(3,436 posts)I did the same for my Mom. I never knew about cream cheese in eggs tho. I would have made it for her. How she loved eggs!! In the end she wanted to sprinkle sugar on her eggs... *sigh* Dementia is so awful.

Dip in the mix, then into an egg wash, then back into the flour.
Fry and get ready

I should really get some curry powder. Does it have instructions on how to make curry sauce with it?

(9,969 posts)You will see a column of Recipes (on the left) and a column of Products (on the right) that display under the search bar. There are a bunch of curries under the products. At the bottom of each column you can select "View all Recipes" or "View all Products". Right now there are 21 recipes.
If you hit enter right away it displays products only.

(183 posts)I discovered Penzeys a couple decades ago - - there was a store near where I then lived in Columbus, OH and wow did I go crazy buying spices!! Oh the aroma of that store was amazing. LOL
At that time, I had no idea about their political stance. We learned that part later and our hearts are TOTALLY in line with their brand values. My husband and I order all the time!! WOOT WOOT!! Go Bill go!!!
If youre a foodie type, be sure and try their Penzeys Pepper. Its a great finishing spice. We also buy ALL of their other peppers, the granulated garlic is fabulous because its not like talc, we cannot LIVE without their dehydrated shalllots/garlic, etc. All of the herbs
.. oh I could go on and on.
Were not bakers so all of our purchases are of the savories. But I have bought lots of the baking spices for friends of mine as gifts. And GET THIS!! A couple of them are Trumpers!!! HAAAA!!! They LOVE them and have NO IDEA!!
We keep spice tins and refill them so we buy their bulk spices in bags. Im CRAZY about Penzeys
.can ya tell?
liberalla
(9,969 posts)promotion for progressive and liberal policies is what inspired me to place my first order...
Yes! I agree on the Penzey's Pepper. I read how they improved the pepper by grinding it 20% finer and now the flavor comes through much better. Makes sense to me!

(10,304 posts)a blend that I actually crave. Their Turmeric Root is also #1 in my cabinet. My daughter took me to one of their stores in Portland many years ago and, like the other poster said, just walking into the store was a great experience. The fragrance was better than perfume. Their peppercorns are so fresh and you can actually get a nice bite from them. I like that you can order glass jars or cellophane envelopes of their wares. If you make pickles, I highly suggest their pickling spices. Can't say enough about Penzeys.
liberalla
(9,969 posts)(but it wasn't Penzeys)
Was checking out their pickling spices, and also the Mulling Spices! I want to try so many things!

(3,436 posts)It's fantastic on sandwiches or course, but also salads and deviled eggs. My husband always remarks how great everything tastes whenever I use it.

(3,436 posts)I sprinkle it on the mayo side of our sandwiches and it seems like getting it wet in the mayo really brings out the flavor of all the herbs.... love it. Enjoy!
