What's for Dinner, Sun., August 6, 2023

Cold Hungarian Mushroom Soup.

Salad with fresh garden greens. I now have some beautiful red leaf lettuce and arugula. Will supplement with romaine.Lots of the red and yellow cherry tomatoes, I also have some green peppers and celery I picked last night. Blue cheese stuffed green olives. Red onion. Casesar dressing with extra parmesan and black pepper.

Dessert: lemon fruit bar.

Zuchini, onions, garlic, tomatoes, green pepper, celery, corn, carrot and small white beans. Used Parmesan rinds for added flavor.
Baguette and butter.
Ice tea.
Fresh ripe peach.

I also steamed some prefab dim sum - four kinds, all with shrimp, but different seasonings.

Spicy and high sodium dinner, but tasty ....

Used both Swiss & havarti as the cheese on top. I added mushrooms because my wife & I want them in nearly everything.
Soup isn't usually an August thing for us, but with a 10 hour rain yesterday & cool, cloudy weather today, I figured, why not.
