Dutch oven chili and cornbread that I made last Sunday, it's in the freezer. Not sure if I'll have anything with it, maybe a half an avocado.

Haven't figured out desert either.

My daughter brought me an eggplant, some fresh tomatoes and homemade basil pesto

I sliced the eggplant, breaded, quick-fried it. Layered in a casserole with onions, tomato, garlic, pesto and spinach. Several cheeses, pesto, spices, hot sauce. I think that's all. Right before it is ready, I'll add a little more Mozzarella to the top.

It's baking now.

...so I'm going to try it out tonight. I've got some steaks thawing, but we also have chicken breasts and pork chops, so I'm currently paralyzed by choices, lol. I'll cook one of those, and serve with butter potatoes and a garden salad.

Lobster stuffed ravioli with a tomato and basil sauce.

Raspberries and blueberries with tea and Scrabble.

Right now, I'm marinating London Broil steaks.

Got'em on sale b/c of Labor Day and a coupon. 4 lbs for $12.48.

And homemade marinade.

Salad and roasted yellow squash and eggplant.

Leftovers. It's a mishmash of chicken breast, noodles, peppers, and tomatoes that I made Saturday (I think). Husband is off helping some guys with a deceased friend's rock collection that's being auctioned off so we're not having a formal dinner.

Zucchini brownies with mixed fruit salad for late snack. Almost time to step outside to look at the moon and howl.

which consists of making a crust, tomato sauce, and then looking through the fridge for things to put on it: half a jar of artichoke hearts, some green bell pepper, the last of the roasted red peppers, a spoonful of capers.
