Blueberry syrup. Just had to share.

For years we've looked forward to blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup from our blueberry bushes in Maine. Usually I cook down some blueberries with Splenda in a small pan on the stove top. This year I decided to try microwaving. I put them in their serving dish, prinkled on Splenda, and cooked/stirred for 30 second spurts till it was the consistency that appealed.

There are a couple of nice things about this.

- no dirty pan

- don't have to watch and stir while trying to tend to pancakes

Another item for my list of Things I Learned after Age Seventy
