I'm going to snack tonight because it's crime show night. Among the snacks:
--chicken liver pate and whitefish salad on crackers with sliced red onion and capers
--stir fried broccoli
--cup of chicken soup with couscous
--artisan crackers with pumpkin, raisin, and fig in them. Mascarpone cheese
--carrot and celery sticks with ranch dip. Also green pepper slices

(34,498 posts)Cher, I was busy yesterday and didnt get a chance to post, but I *did* get to Aldis and they *did* have the chocolate and vanilla hummus! I tried a small taste of each and they are both yummy! I think I agree with you I like the vanilla bean a tad more.
As an added bonus, on the rack with Valentine candy, I found those chocolate truffles in a box similar to the ones they sell at Christmas, only these have raspberry flavor with the chocolate! They are awesome!
TY for the recommendation!

(36,329 posts)I make it more tangy than sweet, and with a nice glug of chili oil to finish it. I like that better than the cloyingly sweet stuff from Panda Express and the supermarket.

(135,790 posts)from freezer to microwave, no mess, vegs include spinach, discretionary to add fresh orange juice before serving, to heat in 'large' no-stick frying pan. I add juice at the end (and as too much, store remains in fridge.) Not bad, w water chestnuts, carrot slices, and 'young' soy. Had yesterday. No cloyingly sweet stuff with either, and I'm happy to add fresh orange juice, navel or Cara Cara.
