I am now at CDG Airport waiting for my onward flight to Düsseldorf. I left Chicago late last night, but left plenty of time for the connection. Breakfast was sautéed spinach leaves, a small cheese omelet with a few fresh tater tots. Mandarin orange slices and pineapple for fruit, orange juice and tea, and a cranberry muffin. The AF lounge is well—stocked, but I was too full to care. I should be at the house by 2:00 PM local time. I won’t be doing much besides unpacking, since I have a 6:30 flight down to Spain tomorrow morning.

There is no rest for the weary!

I prepped it last night: spinach leaves picked from the garden and washed, caramelized onion, and havarti-dill cheese.

Made a fresh pot of coffee.

They are treating us good, we trooped into the wash room

With cream dijon sauce and Havarti cheese - yum!
