Related: About this forumWhat will be your tRump Guilty Verdict meal treat on Friday?
I am focusing on a quick fix treat....I make delicious barbecue ribs using my Instant Pot...I use apple cider for my pot liquid...then make a BQ sauce with that as my base.
I may have corn on the cob, homemade potato salad too... Ice Tea for beverage but later on in evening a nice bottle of a Cabernet ...

(1,206 posts)I don't know if I'll be able to eat. Very nervous about it frankly. Should be open and shut...SHOULD be

(13,578 posts)I understand the struggle to eat post all this trauma drama with tRump....Heck, I may not be able to eat and just straight to the bottle of wine...hahaha
No fast food either for me...
I see Friday as when the Verdict will come in....It may even be Thursday but Friday is my gut feel for the verdict.
Next...we need the immunity ruling..

Honestly, though the best thing would be sushi from the restaurant across the street.

(13,526 posts)Found guilty, he'll appeal & nothing will happen to him. He'll proudly wear his "martyr" label & raise even more money from it. No other case will finish before the election & if he wins, all federal case will go away.
He will never spend a day in jail.

(13,578 posts)He also wears the badge of Felon...this matters........and will loose the appeal which will be heard very quickly.

(13,526 posts)They may choose that he didnt do the felony but did do the misdemeanor
Which of course he would spin as a victory.

(113,130 posts)because I can see the jury asking for clarification from the judge and perhaps bits of testimony transcripts. Remember there are a lot of counts he's being tried on and there will likely be a lot of argument over the ones that aren't obvious.
So will he get a fine and hard slap on the wrist? House arrest? A short jail term? Or will the jury end up at an impasse?
That's what we're not likely to know for some time to come.

I still think the IRS is going to want to take a look at his tax returns for 2016 and 2017. You can bet the rent he did claim that payoff to Cohen as a legitimae, tax deductible legal expense. The IRS always gets their man, too.

(135,777 posts)Timing of verdict, and driving to NJ for granddaughter's ballet recital Saturday, so 'road food,' but daughter's a very good cook, so I'll leave it to her. Also bringing her 'new' wine, to check out. (MAYBE ask her to put together Sangria!)
