have to admit, i wondered how you could keep it edible for days and days.

I speak from experience.

Note I wrote "can be served" and not "edible."

And I love the kind of pillowy chubby aspect.

I love the little "drips" and "drops" of "frosting". Looks "good enough to eat", even though I'd hate to see it cut open, cuz it's too beautiful to eat. It should be on display somewhere. That would be SO perfect for a cartoonist's reception or art exhibition!
