Related: About this forumSuggestions on how to add honey-type glaze to already rotisserie-cooked chicken
from grocery? They used to have decent ones, but discontinued (after covid,) so just boring now.
Thx

(24,013 posts)I take the chicken out of the container it came in and place it on a parchment or foil lined baking sheet and put it in a 375 degree oven. I heat the glaze up in a saucepan before brushing on the chicken and reheating it. Some glaze combos that I have tried and enjoyed are:
peach or apricot jam, balsamic vinegar, rosemary, basil or thyme, salt/pepper
jalapeno jelly (melted in a pan with a little butter or oil)
miso, sesame oil, soy sauce and brown sugar
peach jam or orange marmalade, rice wine vinegar with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, salt/pepper
honey, bbq sauce, worcestershire, garlic
apricot jam, dijon mustard, champagne vinegar, garlic
You can't mess it up. It's my favorite way to make something delicious from something store bought.
ETA: I just googled "jam glazed chicken"....wish I'd done that a long time ago!!!
