What's for Dinner, Wed., Aug. 14, 2024

Two different sandwiches on the same type of bread. Open-faced.

The first one is fried green tomato with mozzarella slice on the top. Melt the mozzarella in either the skillet or air fryer, prol'ly the former. Light chipotle mayo sauce. Lettuce, artisan roll is the base.

The other is BBQ pulled pork on very crunchy artisan roll, toasted.

Salad is cucumber with mint and queso cheese, crumbled. Light mayo/sour cream dressing.

Eggplant fries, this time with sesame oil.

Peach kombucha.

Honeydew melon for dessert, along with cold dark Chinese tea.

Grilling swordfish and a couple of sausages;
Kale Caesar salad;
Curried corn chowder I made yesterday, with some avocado chunks and a dollop of yogurt.

We’re on Martha’s Vineyard, so virtually everything was caught or grown a few miles away.
