My 15 year old son came to me this afternoon

and asked me to make cream of potato soup for dinner. Then, he told his dad and me not to eat too much, because he wants leftovers!

He's an old man in a kid's body. He would eat soup every day if I made it that often.

he wants me to teach him to make.

Four are different kinds of soup.

Then, there are the hoisin pork meatballs I make him for when he wants ramen.

Cookies (sugar and chocolate chip). Brownies like I learned from my grandma and chocolate cake with fluffy white icing.

Spaghetti and meatballs.

The kid is fussy (doesn't eat cheese....I am mystified by this), but he's a good kid, knows what he likes and the only processed food he'll eat is ramen and his beloved cool ranch Doritos.
