Related: About this forumI have about 2 lbs of buttercream frosting
There was so much icing on the cake, I took all of the decorations off. There is still plenty of icing on the cake.
I just wondered if there are any recipes I could mix the icing into, or should I just toss it?
Thanks!

and have wanted to make one. Everybody here is low carb, g.f. (including me!) so I haven't. I hate to waste it. Thank you

(18,778 posts)no recipe, but they turned out ok. I've got more frosting than cake. I will prob. freeze the frosting for now, and decide later, after I come down from my sugar high

freeze it in freezer bags in small quantities. That way you can take it out, enjoy just a little, and not mess up your blood sugar for a long time. Also affect your annual A1C, etc.
Buy those tea biscuits and use it as frosting on them when you want a dessert and don't have anything else in the house.
