Related: About this forumAnyone seen this recipe before? Peaches and biscuts
My mom wrote this down on a scrap of paper decades ago,. I found it in a drawer and it has no title. She must of heard it on the radio, over the phone. Her hand writing is hard to read.
1/3c brown sugar
1c Karo syrup
1/4c butter
Melt and mix together. (I think)
2-10oz cans biscuits
Muffin pan
canned peach half's, maybe fresh?
pour a little syrup in the muffin tin, add a peach half and top with a biscuit.
bake 350° until golden brown.
Thanks

(6,138 posts)1. Mix up a cup of pancake batter in a baking dish with a little extra sugar.
2. Warm up a 14 oz can of peaches in a pan with the juice. Cut up the peaches into smaller chunks while stirring.
3. Add extra sugar, vanilla, and a dash of vinegar to give it a bit of tang.
4. Mix some cornstarch in a small amount of cold water and add to simmering peaches to thicken up to pie consistency.
5. Pour the hot peach mixture over the pancake batter and dot with butter.
Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes.
Easy peasy.

(113,131 posts)because of the heavy syrup (the extra cab be ysed on pancakes). It's sort of an upside down peach shortcake. Squirt some whipped cream on top to make it even better, or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
My non cook mother used to do this one as an easy dessert.
