Breakfast Friday 11 October 2024

I am bored with my frequent eggs/tofu/cottage cheese & tomato& avocado, so I put short ribs in the crockpot using this recipe.
It should be finished around 7 or 8 am on low.
https://thestayathomechef.com/slow-cooker-beef-short-ribs/

Ingredients

▢4 pounds beef short ribs about 8 short ribs, boneless or bone-in-- I used 3 pounds so I would have leftovers& & they could fit in my crockpot
▢1 teaspoon salt
▢1 teaspoon black pepper
▢3 cups beef broth-- I used a low sodium commercially broth
▢1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
▢1 teaspoon garlic powder-- doubled this
▢1 teaspoon onion powder--doubled this as well
▢1 sprig fresh rosemary.

I'll fix a plate with some corn & green beans for dinner for breakfast.
Hot tea
