I was planning on 1/2 an apple, but there was a LOT of food on my plate.

I have some apples I'm thinking about baking later today or tomorrow. Cinnamon sugar and salted butter. Very simple and very tasty. It's the prep time I'm going to have to work into my schedule.

I love apple season. But I wish I had a mechanical peeler.

I'm always on the fence over whether the effort to pull it out of the closet and to deal w/ cleaning it is worth whatever effort it saves in peeling 6-8 apples. I usually end up on the side of the fence where I just peel the apples.

We recently were gifted a fully functional second-hand dishwasher.. so my behavior may change.

It's very nice that you have one gifted! I thought about a counter top style but storage is tight and so is the counter top space.

Are they hard to work? I might try to find one second hand. I don't trust tools like that made in China. We know that they build their stuff to break anyway so we'll buy more.

I had a doctor's appointment today but my doctor had to take maternity leave. Overnight apparently. How crazy is that?

I have an avocado ready for toast but the acetaminophen needs to start working first.
