Breakfast Wednesday 17 December 2025

I spent time earlier today chatting with an acquaintance in Tokyo, she casually mentioned that she had tofu miso soup for her lunch.💡

I have tofu, Napa cabbage, rice, bonito flakes and miso paste , so I will make miso soup with tofu and greens, pot of hot tea, so my breakfast is set.

Still adjusting my schedule. Miso soup sounds delicious. Umami..a word I learnt only in recent years.

Stewed apples and craisins over toasted waffle. A little maple syrup.

A couple tangelos with cottage cheese.Ginger crystals bits in the cottage cheese.

Toasting a whole grain English muffin. Cream cheese on it today.

Today will be the last day of the machinery that's been entertaining the dog. Gravel spreading and relocation of some foundation drain pipes and they're gone. Ducky will have to make do with school buses and garbage trucks for entertainment.
