Tomato feta soup.

Muffuletta with olive salad, ham, provolone, Swiss, mortadella. Picked it up yesterday when I was out shopping.

Blueberry basil kombucha.

One, exactly ONE, chocolate.

Son and I both slept in (well, I was reading in bed smothered in cats…) and only now got around to what I’ll call brunch—banana-nut muffins, vegan sausage (yup, TJ’s), and tofu scrambler.

I am STUFFED and predict if we have dinner, it will be at a ridiculously late hour—probably 10 or later.

Ahhhhh. Weekends.

I bought at the local farm. I can't wait.

My daughter came and helped me make some Christmas treats, so I've had enough calories today.

So far, teacakes, spiced walnuts, peanut butter bars, and brigadieros. Tomorrow, I'll put together baklava and then candy some pecans. Closer to Christmas, I'll make a 1/2 recipe of rice krispie treats. My kids and grandkids are baking cookies. We'll have way too much, as always.

Made a small pot of cream of mushroom soup using white, cremini and dried black mushrooms. Made it vegan by using Miyoko’s butter to sauté the onions and celery and oat milk to thin out the roux. Also made a batch of tofu “egg” salad and made sandwiches with sliced tomato, red onion and romaine on multigrain bread. Cheers!🥂

with sausage. Take whatever beans are in the house, whatever greens, toss in a sausage or hambone and cook together. Today's is navy beans, kale, and hot links, with some fresh sourdough on the side.
