(152,069 posts)1. That looks cool! Is it like a central vacuum?
I wish I'd known about that when we were building.
Damn.

(10,274 posts)2. VacPan and VacuSweep for Central Vacuums
The VacPan and other baseboard vacuum, under the cabinet or similar in wall toe kick operated central vacuum ports such as Vacu-Sweep are a great addition to any system. Vac-Pan and VacuSweep installation should be done by a professional installer or serious do-it-yourselfer. They are a wonderful product; however, the installation process is moderate to difficult. Be sure to have all the instructions, fittings, pipe, low voltage wire, and other things for installation also available here

(19,459 posts)6. Does it require a building permit?
I suppose the answer is different depending on where one lives.

It such a fast and easy way to clean up! I recommend them highly.
