Looking for good American made (and clever) furniture?

Last edited Sun Dec 11, 2011, 07:10 PM - Edit history (1)

check it out

http://www.homereserve.com/index.cfm

I bought a chair a few years ago, then new fabric for it and just recently a new sofa for the living room

edit to add, i got new fabric for decorative reasons, not because it needed replacing, i kept the old covers 'just in case'

just take em off, throw it in the washer and voila!

i highly suggest you order a TON of swatches too, some of the fabrics look alot different on screen and in real life, but we are loving the "Matador Faux Leather" it's rich looking, looks like very expensive distressed leather and machine washable!

My daughter bought her living room furniture from Home Reserve because of your recommendation and she loves it. The pet-friendly coverings she got are off-white and she has a gray cat and a black cat but the fur wipes right off. She's successfully laundered them and that makes the furniture look brand new. The best part is she was able to put the components together by herself. She is a satisfied customer.

Sandy helped me design a custom loveseat with the "Ray" body and "Tux" arms. And there was no extra charge for that. Great service!

Thanks again for the recommendation. MUCH better price, options and service than the other options in that price range. Thrilled to have the extra storage space too.

AND they are rushing my order-- again, at NO CHARGE.

VERY happy with Homereserve so far!

i ordered a full sofa with spring down cushions (soft firm and durable) with high quality fabric. It came in 2 parts that i was able to assemble myself. Nice sofa. Recommended.

Also forgot to mention, awesome customer service. They really care about their customers.

Edited again to add ... but my sofa cost almost $1500. So you may get a better deal from homereserve after all. I guess it depends on what you want. Anyhow, thanks for posting it. I may consider them for my next purchase.

Also, I couldn't really find what their products were made of...

they have a video on how it's made you can watch

the fabric makes a huge difference, some of it looks very tacky. I'm very happy with the look of the dark brown distressed leather looking stuff we have on the sofa in the living room

it's not designer stuff at all, but that's not the audience they're going for. i love it cuz it's about pet proof and completely washable
