Where is the blade to peel though?
I had one of these, but I could never get it to work efficiently. Gave it away to a friend who used it no problem. I am the problem.

and the loop at the left side does the coring.
I found this, no doubt at a thrift store. From Starfrit.
All plastic, with visible gears. A mechanical marvel.

of this general principle. Easily dozens, all different. Probably late 19th to early 20th century.
