That sounds like a trimming nightmare to me in a couple of years. But I love raspberries so its probably worth the work!

Raspberries usually do like blackberries and fruit on the previous year's canes. But you may have some mature plants?

Anyway, that's a lot of work, so congratulations. Enjoy the fruit of your labors for real. I need to go pick up some raspberry cuttings a friend is making for me. Her berries are stupendous. But today I must plant a showy orchid, some jack-In-The Pulpit and a bunch of other wildflowers a friend rescues from the logging roads before they get squished.

And weed wack. Is it mean to weedwack on Easter? Would Ostara approve?
