99 cent store

one good thing about my local store is that they always have 4" veggies ready to go in the spring. not a huge selection, but i got lucky today with both golden and purple peppers (never tried to grow these varieties before), light green striped zucchini, and a jalapeno. a few weeks ago i got 3 maters - cherry, early girl and a beefsteak. they're all healthy and growing fine and you cant beat 99 cents for the price!
