I might have enough tomatoes to make a batch of Marinara sauce

I'll check again tomorrow morning to see if a few more are ready to be picked. It won't be a big batch but I'm going to freeze it to use when my friend gets here, in October, for a much overdue visit.

I've got one batch of stewed tomatoes in the freezer and there should be enough to do another batch or two, before the season is over.

I was just looking at the dozen tomatoes sitting on my counter, guess I’ll make some tomato soup to freeze.

I also planted some Early Girl and Grape tomatoes. I'm mixing the Early Girl and Marinara/San Marzano in the stewed.

very little prep. dont take up much space. i put stuff in the freezer to prevent any mold cuz i dont like to dry them toooo hard. it intensifies the flavor, and makes nice thick sauce.
i'm just starting to get cherries.
i like to make green tomato pickles, too. soo good.

have lots of fruit to dry this year as well. peached and pears are almost ready.

To the skinned and seeded mash, I let it simmer and concentrate in a slow cooker.
