With the help of our daughters we just put together our A frame.

We should be starting lots from seeds now, even if the weather is quirky. Took us longer than we wanted, but now we have a chance to get everything started throughout the season as early as possible. I'm so excited. Lots to grow, lots to eat!

I know what you mean about "took us longer than we wanted" -- it seems like every project I go to do, no matter how simple, always takes far longer than it should, and there are always stupid complications. Last weekend, I needed to fix an underground water line I accidentally sliced -- I had every conceivable flexible PVC component EXCEPT the 3/4" straight connector I needed -- reminded me of the lyric from that Alanis Morisette song "It's like 10,000 spoons, when all you need is a knife."

I'll have to see what I can do to get it posted.

Everything is growing well now. We already transferred beans and squash from it to the garden. They've held up well through two storms. Soon we'll be ready to move out the tomatoes!
