I can't even find my "garden" under the snow that hasn't melted yet and probably won't see the ground for at least another week. Then I get to wait for the ground to thaw and the mud to turn to actual dirt. Maybe May 1 if I'm lucky.

not to plant anything until the end of May. I didn't believe her......never contradict your mother!

I have lost a lot of plants by rushing the season, and have had a lot of work trying to cover plants in other years. The only thing I plant early is lettuce and some herbs----cool weather plants. And I have to wait for this 30 degree weather to clear out of here.

Sigh.
