Diapers Help Your Plants Grow!

Useful in container plants in case you don't stay on top of watering as much as you could.

You can start seeds in them as well: Water, poke a hole, stick a seed in, put it under light when it grows.

Sodium polyacrylate- don't snort it, or eat it. Otherwise it appears relatively safe while in the plant's soil. Not only does it help with holding water for later, they expand and contract and thus aerate your soil.

But they will exist in the environment for a long, long time, so there is that. I have not been able to find much of a downside other than that.

Just a note - These are best used new, not recycled. Just sayin'.

And very timely, too, for me. I have a few dozen new Depends that my mom no longer needs.
