After several years of attempts, I finally got a 1.5 lb tomato.

Got two more developing. Fingers and all crossed.
The lone one was yummy. Ole fashion 'mater, mayo, butter bread, s&p double decker sandwich.

(2,681 posts)The Texas climate just gets too hot too soon for these tomatoes. I grew them then for four years and only got a crop one year. But worth the effort, they are the best tasting tomatoes, hands down.

(10,321 posts)years here in Georgia. In 2016, we got a bumper crop of tomatoes of all kinds and we canned enough for 2 years, even after giving away many jars. This year, our tomato crop was a bust, with the exception of black cherry and little yellow/orange cherries.
