We had watermelon with virtually every meal during the two weeks we were there. Watermelon stands lined the roads everywhere we went, and I have never, before or since, eaten watermelon as sweet as those we found in China.

The cantaloupes I grow in this same field were the best ever too. Not very big, but incredibly sweet. I think they were Hale's.
