Falco 2 Pruners anyone?

Hi,
I'm a relatively new gardener who is trying to transition from a lawn to native plants and prairie type landscaping for my backyard. I had a cheap pair of pruners but have got myself a little Christmas present of the Falco 2. All the reviews I saw were great and even came across the recommendation in a few books I have been looking through to get my gardening fix in over the winter.

If you have a pair, how often do you sharpen the blades?

Peace

I don't sharpen the blade too much but I buy a new blade about 1 a year. Make sure to spray it with some WD 40 every now and then. Take them apart when you clean and oil them too.

Any native plant or ecology ?s p.m. me.
