I just noticed this was under Gardening and about butterflies.

From the headline I thought it was about Trump and Putin having a drink together...sorry.

I had thought about planting some when I heard that the Monarchs were in big trouble a few years ago.

I have a ton of common milkweed volunteers, I will have to watch those, they are aggressive.

Where did you find seeds for Rose Milkweed? It’s very pretty. I’ve never heard of it. It kind of reminds me of the tropical milkweed I have in my flower bed. I also have common with some Monarch eggs and a few caterpillars. I usually bring them in and raise them in a mesh butterfly house. Had almost 40 last summer. Haven’t started that yet this summer due to a trip to CO I will be taking. After I get back I’ll bring them in. The later Monarchs will be the migration generation to fly to Mexico to overwinter! Love my beautiful Monarchs!! If I could figure out how to post photos on here from my iPhone, I’d post some butterfly pics... Thanks for posting your pic!!!

It is a great organization. Actually got that as a bonus plant in a pot with an aster.

To see if Ohio has something like a state arboretum. I’m close to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Dawes arboretum. Maybe they’d offer something similar!! Thanks for the info!!!

I was getting at least a few. The rest of my flower garden has other butterflies all over it. Have only seen a few hummingbirds this year too.
