Munchkin (now Muffin) update.

Muffin has been with us over an week and she’s still very shy but is beginning to overcome it. We renamed her Muffin because my husband accidentally called her that and it stuck, we think it’s cute, and it suits her. She sat with me while I meditated today and jumped onto my lap for the first time afterwards. I was extremely happy about that.

She enjoys playing with us, but her favorite fun thing to do is ask for food. She thinks it’s wonderful when she asks and I refill her bowls. She’s thin, so I’m happy to give her all the food she wants.

We have a large cat tree that sits in front of a south facing window that she has discovered and loves. She hasn’t climbed up to its highest perches yet because I’m pretty sure they still smell like our last cat, but I think she’ll get over that.

I haven’t taken a picture of her yet because she’s afraid of me when I have my iPad in my hands, so I’m still working on that. We’re very happy we adopted Muffin, and I think she may be too.
