I think something's wrong with Holly

Earlier today, I saw her walking to and from the kitchen and she was walking very, very slowly. Later, I went looking for her but couldn't find her in any of her usual spots. As soon as I thought of another spot where she could be, she reappeared and walked to the kitchen and back again very slowly. Later I found her lying next to the vent in the foyer and she started crying. I picked her up; she hates being picked up and she didn't even fight. I put her down and gave her some treats but she refused them. She went up on one step to the upstairs and has been sitting there ever since. No, now she's gone.

I'm so scared. I don't know why she's acting this way. If I don't see any change in the next couple of hours, I'm going to have to take her to the emergency vet.

Please keep a good thought for my precious Holly.

Maybe it’s nothing, but I’d want to know sooner than later. If it’s serious, time matters.

Perhaps change of diet or something she recently ate simply did not set well with her?

I don’t give her wet food anymore because she eats it so fast that she throws up. So there hasn't been any changes to her diet. Maybe she ate something off the floor? I can't imagine what, but you never know.

Does she have a go to good that she'd love even on her last day?
I agree with the vet recommendations. Prayers for your baby girls MIButterfly.

she just stood there looking at her bowls. Maybe she didn't want me to watch her eat. Every cat I've ever has run away when I went into the room while they're were eating.

I picked her up again - no fight. She just meowed a couple of times and barely wiggled.
