Related: About this forumMy three boys all have 3 such different personalities and facial expressions.
Gryff's face is always so full of affection. He is, by far, the biggest mama's boy. He'd spend all day on my lap if I'd let him.
Madoc's face reflects self assured expectation. He knows what he wants and he knows he's going to get it. His big show of affection is when he hops up on my lap, places his front paws on my leg, and stands there waiting for me to stroke his head and tell him how handsome he is. He knows that - he just likes to hear it. He is VERY fond of chin scritches. Occasionally he will snuggle, but for a limited time. He kind of smells like toasted marshmallows. I thought I was crazy when I noticed it but others have, too.
Arthur's face is CONSTANTLY full of curiosity and amazement with a touch of scamp. He comes running when I call his name. He likes to climb up on my chest and pat my face, and to take his afternoon naps on my lap. He's also fond of chin scritches.
Fortunately all three tolerate my singing to them, which I enjoy to an excess. Sophie used to try to shush me by rapidly hitting my mouth with her front paws. Boudicca just ignored me.

(24,729 posts)Each kitten has its own personality, even siblings from the same litter or, like Arthur and Madoc, the same mother, different litter.
As Forest Gump would say, like a box of chocolates, you don't know what you are going to get.
But what great surprises.
Any news of the ferals? How is Mittens? And Spooky?

(27,345 posts)They race back and forth in front of me as I head to the feeding bowls. It is quite the morning greeting.
Haven't seen Bruiser in a couple of weeks.
