Related: About this forumLast night I thought Arthur had mastered the art of utilizing the feline time travel portal
He disappeared about an hour before I went to bed. I looked everywhere, knowing he was SOMEWHERE in the house.
I woke up at 2 and opened some windows. Still no Arthur. Gryff and Madoc jumped up on the bed and snuggled down. STILL no Arthur. Got up a little before 6. STILL no Arthur, until I walked into the kitchen. He magically appeared.
After breakfast he disappeared again so I thought where is the one spot the boys love but I figured is out of his jumping reach. And there he was, up on the kitchen window sill. Apparently he found a way. I half expect to find him on the fireplace mantel before the end of July.

(27,004 posts)I love all 3 of my boys, but I found Arthur within a day of his birth and brought him and his siblings in at 3 weeks because of eye infections. (Madoc was 4 weeks old and Gryff was 4 months old.) I just have a SERIOUS emotional investment in this little guy.
And in those first 3 weeks while they were still with their mom I never missed an opportunity to bend down and let him and his siblings see me and hear my voice - even before they were capable.
He is going to be so much fun to watch grow - just like Madoc and Gryff. It is, to me, pretty amazing.
