I have reached my limit.

I've had the same little dog, Gidget for 11 years, and decided I needed another dog. A friend of mine has a rescue group and she found the sweetest poodle dog for me, Luna. I have never had such a sweet well behaved dog. Don't get me wrong I absolutely worship my little Gidget but being a Brussels Gryphon she is not the cuddliest dog in the pack.
Then a friend was faced with two little dogs who's owner died and her daughter didn't want them and my friend said,"don't worry I know someone who will take them.
I am that someone, I can't say no. Now I have a Yorkie and a shih tzu, Haley and Cinnamon to go with the rest of the pack.

But now I've found my personality and that of a terrier are not compatible. I am a quiet laid back person and she is not laid back at all. So I'm giving her back to my friend for her daughter who's completely compatible with a yippie, hyper active little terrier-ist.
Cinnamon stays with me she as laid back as the rest of us and does not bark or growl at butterflies an invisible intruders.
I feel bad because I have never given up on a dog but I just can't live with this one at my age.

Thank you for reading this, I just had to get it out.

Terriers are working dogs and are a PIA when not worked. My next door neighbor has one and they are well suited.

My friend came to pick Haley up but I couldn't give her up.Since my last post I have studied up on the breed and they way they act.
And I remembered aversion therapy, it is something I have used before to train my puppies.
So I dug a spray bottle out, filled it with water and sprayed her with anytime she starts barking at the tv, or butterflies. If she is doing her job letting me know someone is around the house, she gets a treat.
She has become a dream and I couldn't be happier. she wants to lay on me or next to me. All the time.
I think I just had to let her know I am the Alpha here and she can relax a little.
So thank you all for your support, it is good to know I can get help if I need it, here.
