Related: About this forumHere's some good news. Skittish is back!!!!!
I have been having a really bad anxiety day and even turned off 'Deadline White House'. I decided to get some fresh air and feed the outdoor kids a little early. Just as I started pouring some of the kibble into a bowl I saw movement under the bush where Skittish had always waited for food. I couldn't believe it when I saw it was actually her!!! It's been well over two weeks since she's been here. Maybe it's just a nostalgic visit, but at least I now know she's still with us.
I feel slightly better because this really is the first really positive surprise I've had in ages!!

(38,623 posts)I got home from my walk today. Didnt notice Patches my indoor cat was missing. After a few minutes I looked out on the porch and he was out there, calmly drinking out of Tigers water bowl. I picked him up and brought him in and he yelled at me. Im sure glad he didnt make a run for it, I wouldve gone insane if he just disappeared. But he did live on my porch for about six months before I finally took him in after my old cat died. Great news about Skittish!

I have a great fondness for these black and gray tiger kitties.
