If it's been raining, he will stop at the edge of the grass, look at it for a minute, gingerly take one step on it, then let go, barely hitting the grass. If it's raining, he will give me "the look" and come back in until it quits raining. He has excellent bladder control. If it rains all day, he will give in and go out in the rain, but man is he direct in those circumstances. Doesn't do his usual sniffing around first. Just does his business and runs back in fast as he can. Of course, he has to shake off by me, lol, and he has lots and lots of fur.

My dog would tip toe around a puddle but she dove into a lake and dragged out a smelly dead turtle which I initially thought was an odd looking and large stick.

You know how quickly she rolled in that putrefied carcass?
