Related: About this forumI received another Eira initiated kitten kiss, this morning. Apparently she's starting to trust me.
And little Mysterio's limp seems to be resolving.
I was able to scoop up Gwyn, right in front of his mom, and Scooter didn't react in any way.

(27,299 posts)I'm going to buy another one. I'd love to adapt one to be an warm weather outdoor shelter. There's an addition to the house that would give perfect stability from north/west winds. I'd love to figure out a way to put an opening in the screened in back porch to allow an opening for me to keep the playpen IN the porch in the Winger but prevent any other wildlife from getting into the actual porch. That way it could be there all year and make another opportunity for gaining confidence and socializing.
Or maybe I'm just exhausted from preparing for guests and my brain is going

(27,299 posts)I try to tell myself to NOT get emotionally attached - especially to the kittens - but it's a losing battle. Even the ones who are still afraid of me - I just keep up with the slow blinks and soft speaking.
Eira is now running up to me when I step outside. I managed to giver her a VERY extended chin, cheek and head scritch this morning. I have a feeling I'll be doing the same to Mysterio, soon, and then I can verify the gender and come up with a proper name.
