Related: About this forumHere's all 3 kittens in the playpen
As you can see, Gwyn has pretty much settled in. The other two are MUCH more relaxed than they were at first. I was able to give all three a good scritching without any distress.
Tomorrow we will finally answer the question as to Mysterio's gender. And give them a flea treatment. And as soon as they are 'settled', a trip to the vet.

(3,820 posts)It looks like the have everything they need right now, food, water and a litter box. Before long they will be piled up, snuggling with you, Madoc, Gryff and Arthur.
Thanks for the update, picture and being a loving advocate for the stray kittens. You're making a big difference in their lives.

(360 posts)My hub and I also rescue cats.
Small kittens often get into their water and then get into their litter box. I use clumping litter in my litter boxes. Unfortunately, it turns into concrete on a wet kitten. I got tired of bathing them so I tried crushed walnut shell litter. It worked great . . . . until I let them into general population. One of the kittens decided that the cat food kibble looked like crushed walnut shell litter and proceeded to use the food bowl as a litter box.
The cat is 3 years old now and I have not been able to convince him that kibble is not walnut shell litter. I have to put the food bowl away when he is out of his kennel.

(27,299 posts)We covered the playpen with a blanket to calm them down. After a while I went out and wiped up the water.
I'll check on them one more time before I got to bed, tonight. Tomorrow will be a VERY busy day!
